Nico Didonna and Ciccone Collection Fashion Show

Nico Didonna is an Italian designer based in London, Christopher Ciccone is an Italian/American artist, known for his interior designer projects, for his role in several world tours of his sister Madonna and now being approached by Novesta, an East European company, he designed a collection of rubber and leather shoes.
Putting Nico Didonna and Christopher Ciccone in the same show has been a bold move and it worked fantastically starting London Fashion Week Spring/Summer 2013 edition with something new and fresh and colourful.
The show has been hosted at the Italian Cultural Institute during the ModaItalianaLondon Collective that showcased Italian designers in Great Britain and all the fashion world came to see the launch of this shoe collection  matched with the beautiful dresses by Nico Didonna inspired by the Nature and the Elements. To complement the outfits the company Bronzallure from Milan www.milor.com  provided the jewellery for the catwalk. In the video you can see them, in their warm 18ct rose gold nuance and semi precious stones set. The music has been created by the L.A. group Early Morning Rebel who attended the show together with a star studded front row, including Christopher Ciccone, conceptual artist Pandemonia, journalist Zoe Griffin editor of www.livelikeavip.com  and designer Nina Naustdal just to name a few.
The concept of the show was " Sophia Loren meets Marnie" so the look and the make up was very 1950's with a twist, perfectly realised by Electric Hairdressing London for L'Oreal Professionel UK and the make up by Debbie Korrie, make up artist to all the celebrities. This fantastic monochrome dress has got a flash of colours thanks to the Alexa shoes in bright yellow.

This fabulous evening dress in lace is just a dream. At the show it has been made possible to pair it with sporty shoes and it was great, this catwalk pushed the boundaries and invited the Nico Didonna 's woman to have fun.
Another monochrome ensemble for this catsuit with palazzo trousers. The effect was very elegant and the jewellery by Bronzallure gave just the right and final touch to the whole outfit.

This blue dress is paired with Vito shoes, which are very comfortable by the way, I've tried them on. The belt is a brainwave by Vittoria, one of the lovely girls at Bronzallure who suggested to use one of her necklaces styled as you can see it.
After the show Pandemonia could not resist and pose for the camera on the catwalk. She knows a thing or two about rubber and how fashionable it can be.
After the show, Nico Didonna collection has been on display at the ModaItalianaLondon  on the ground floor of the Italian Cultural Institute where everyone could see closely how beautiful the fabrics, the details, the prints and the manufacturing of the garments were.
