Ossie Clark London

Ossie Clark has started in the early 1960s at the beginning of the Swinging London and by the  end of the sixties and the beginning of the seventies he has been crowned the King of King's Road. In 2012 the label is still very much alive thanks to Nicolas Georgiou who took the job as a Designer for the company launching the first collection of Ossie Clark London online and in store exclusively for Debenham in February 2013.

I went to the Proud Galleries in King's Road, the perfect place for the presentation of this great collection and I was captured by this Olympia dress, one of the pieces that have the "Vintage" label because sourced from the archive of the company. The digital print  is stunning and the cut  hasn't lost the spark not even after 50 years. It is still so modern and fresh.
Another beautiful long maxi dress, the Regent model, I could see Bianca Jagger wearing it during those wild nights in town. This is haute couture meets high street, the modern versions of these great dresses keep the original look but the synthetic fabrics of the past have been replaced with natural materials and the cut is suitable for the modern woman's body.
This is going to be officially my next purchase. The model Angel sports all the colours I love and it can be easily matched with any kind of accessories. I think I've never seen such a versatile dress as this and  I will make sure that as soon as it will hit the stores it will be in my wardrobe.
The Wimbledon dress in bright red and white has got a cut that will flatter any body shape. Perfect for the day with a nice jacket over it for an office look, just changing the shoes and with a tiny clutch bag will be transformed in a party dress to die for.

These fantastic pair of trousers with a print from the Vintage archive will be a staple for the Spring Summer seasons. They will match easily anything in your closet without mentioning that you will wear a piece of British fashion history.

Gorgeous Ossie jacket in snakeskin print. The asymmetric zip and the sleeves details are unique. It is one of  those investment pieces to have and cherish. www.ossieclarklondon.co.uk
