Kaleidoscope Autumn Winter Collection

Kaleidoscope is a lifestyle brand including fashion and homeware. Everything is so beautiful with attention to details in both clothing and furniture. I am a fan already and from their website I've bought a great ottoman with space inside to put my shoes and make my bedroom a better place. But let's look at some of their outfits for the next season.
This ensemble is great, the hounds tooth pencil skirt has got a very ladylike style and at £ 25.00 it would be a mistake not to buy it. Here has been styled with a red top and this beautiful jacket with white borders on the collar. A perfect look to stand up in a boardroom.

This A line coat in a saffron colour is one of my favourite pieces. I love the embroidery at the cuffs and its bright colour. The price is even better at £ 89.00. The quality is great and the fabric is very soft at the touch. A statement piece that will put a smile on the face as soon as it will be worn. The sunny colour is a mood changer.

This tweed fringe detailed  drop waist dress is perfect for any occasion. Wear it at the office with court shoes and a capacious bag, or accessorise it with a lovely clutch that cost £ 45.00, a pair of jazzy shoes for a night  at the restaurant or at the theatre. The pockets are a great detail and with a price tag of £ 69.00 you've got a dress that it will see through all the season.

from the same line the tweed fringe detailed jacket is another staple that it shouldn't be amiss in your wardrobe. Very Chanel like at £ 85.00 will solve any problems of when we need a smart coat that looks great with everything. The blouse in powder pink costs £ 39.00 with pleated hem and a small bow at the back. For more check the website www.kaleidoscope.co.uk . Delivery for some items is so quick that you can have your goods in a day or two. You will love it.

Tu at Sainsbury's Relaunches in September

Go to any Sainsbury's that stock the Tu at Sainsbury's collection from September and you will be in for a great surprise. The look will be new and fresh and the brand is going to have an identity of its own, not just a supermarket spin off. Tu will be very fashion orientated and quality garments retaining supermarket prices and the new motto will be " Live Your Style" with lifestyle themes for the whole family.
A beautiful jumper for our cold winters here styled with a faux leather skirt that depending on the accessorises it is perfect for the office or for a night out. Accessorises can change an outfit completely and check a nice and sparkly top in store to wear instead of the jumper.

I love this oversized coat. The monochrome theme is going to be strong again next season and this coat with its pattern is just perfect. Be wild and team it up with colours like a bright red scarf and coloured tights, or carry on with the black and white palette with black jeans and a nice hat.

These Wellington Boots are fabulous. The tweed insert is great and I could see them  been worn by both men and women. The look is very British and reminiscent of a week end in the countryside but with the heavy rains we had last winter, they are the right footwear to sport going to work, matching, maybe, a work suit.

Beautiful faux leather skirt in tan and matching gloves. Attention to details is important and with the rebranding of Tu from September the relaunch will happen in 395 stores nationwide. At the moment only the King's Lynn in Norfolk and the Weedon Road in Northampton are testing the new concept.

This is for the foxy lady who is in all of us. Once the Tu  new range will be in store, it is advisable to check the stock because every 6 weeks  new arrival will come, being always up to date with the latest trends.

Outdoor lifestyle for her and for him. The poncho style wrap is gorgeous and denim jeans for women start from £ 12.50. Menswear is focused on heritage pieces with checked shirts, wax cotton jackets and Isle jumpers. 30 designers are behind the team who create the new ranges for Tu. Next year is going to be Tu 10th anniversary so the rebranding will be on time on all the stores that stock this collection.

For girls there is a new line " Made In Britain" with an eye to the latest trends and with fashionable prints and designs. For Halloween and Carnival a range of  dress up costumes has been thought with all the classic and newer heroes for boys and girls.

This pea coat from the menswear range is so well tailored. Men have a great selection of garments both classic style or more colourful and relaxed. The Tu logo will be different making it more of a fashion label and everything in store from the hangers and the tags will have this new look. Looking forward to it.

Nick Tentis Spring Summer 2014 Collection

Nick Tentis, the celebrated Savile Row based designer, introduced his Spring Summer Collection 2014 at the Cafe Royale. The menswear collection is inspired by the Mod and Ska movements with an obvious 21st century twist.
The opulent hall at the Cafe Royale has been a perfect frame for this group of models who donned the Nick Tentis' capsule wardrobe " Uptown Rudeboy". The suits are sharp and single breasted, the trousers' length is cut at the ankle and the shape is narrow. Thin ties and crisp shirts with small collars are those fine details that bring to memory when the Beatles where starting out.

The palette comprises light blue, grey, black, beige with high quality fabrics. Knitwear is made in London using Italian yarn, accessorises are handmade in England and there are oversized holdalls available in canvas and leather and a bespoke city bags. For the party or evening line the fabrics for the suits are in lightweight wool, linen and one of the finest summer cashmere I've ever seen. Buttons are made in mother of pearl.

I could not resist from having my picture taken among these gorgeous and sharp dressed models and then I could see properly the tailoring and the high quality of this collection. After all we are talking about Nick Tentis, a Savile Row tailor where quality and attention to details are of paramount importance. The beautiful shop where it is possible to view the current collection is at 37 Savile Row W1S 3QD and to start a wish list it is possible to go online at www.nicktentis.com

Darling Autumn Winter 2013

Darling is a British brand established in 2008 by Nadia Moraes. The look is very feminine and with a vintage twist. The collection for the next season is gorgeous, while I was at the press day at Soho House I was doing a wish list on my mind as I always do when viewing a new collection. Well I was ticking all the boxes because every single piece was just great.
This is the Belinda dress in teal with a flower print in black. This little number will be perfect for the Christmas party and with a nice cardigan can be worn at work as well, especially if later in the evening theatre or a date is in the diary.

The Alexi knot top and the Karmen skirt are a real beauty. The top' shoulders have  beaded detailing and it is a perfect match with the hounds tooth skirt. A colourful belt can be added to give a splash of colour.
The Tessa clutch is lovely, perfect to store credit cards, keys and a lipstick. In here we've got the version in grape colour and burnt orange, but it is available in blue as well.

The Poppie Dress has got a flower print and it is available in charcoal as well. I love the fact that this dress has got pockets which can be useful to store a phone, they are so tiny now so just accessorise with the Tessa clutch and the look is sorted.

The Christie dress with the brocade panel on the front and the short sleeves is the perfect outfit to celebrate Christmas with the in laws. This dress is one of those staple outfit, perfect for any occasion. I would say "investment piece" if the price tag was 10 times the real price of what you are going to pay for it. Darling 's prices are very affordable and the quality as well as the designs are of the highest standards. Check the website where shopping gives you something back as well. For every purchase you can collect points to redeem for future orders. www.darlingclothes.com

OP (Ocean Pacific) for Sports Direct

Ocean Pacific is the American brand established in the 1960s as a surfboard brand, then in 1972 the catalogue added swimwear and apparel dedicated to surfers. After 50 years it is still going strong and stylish as ever. This year a collection sold exclusively at Sports Direct branches will launch this label in the UK.
This T shirt from the OP collection is just fab with bright colour as the rest of the collection. This is the first time that OP launches its products in UK and only Sports Direct will stock them as well as the online store.
These swim wear shorts scream California from afar. After all even in Cornwall there are surfers and now you know where to buy the right look. With decades of experience in making swimwear for this sport you can be sure about the comfort while riding the board.
I love the retro style bikini with the bra that sustains the bust and the brief which are high, hiding maybe  few little sins. The colours are  brights and the prints are geometrical or tropical.
This one piece remind me of Hollywood stars and those beautiful black and white films with Ava Gardner or Doris Day. These women swimsuits are very feminine and they enhance the figure.
It looks like what we are thinking in these days with this glorious weather. Go and check this Tee shirts and more for men, women and kids at Sports Direct or online at www.sportsdirect.com .

Next Autumn Winter Collection

It is very hot at the moment but fashion always thinks ahead of six months so that when the season arrives already trends have been set and shops are full with the new collection. Big high street chain Next has introduced its new collection which is going to appeal to everyone. Looks from the catwalk have been the inspiration for what we are going to wear in three months time.
The punk look will be a must for the next months with red tartan and leather combined together. The biker jacket has got a checkered tartan and faux  leather sleeves, paired with a faux leather mini skirt and a black thick jumper. The price for the jacket will be £ 60.00
Very bold this ensemble with checkered  blouse and trousers. The dark grey colours allowes for a red bright bag. The perfect look for the office, stylish yet demure.

I love this red coat with a belt that gives a nipped waist, it is just what we need for those grey days. The palette for next season has got red, black and grey mainly so we can accessorise this coat with a black bag and a furry black hat.
This faux fur coat with faux leather sleeves is great. Styled with denim but perfect with any outfit, it will be one of those pieces that will become a staple in our wardrobe. Priced at £ 70.00 it is a real bargain. In a couple of months it will be possible to find all these gorgeous garments in store nationwide. www.next.co.uk

agnes b. Winter Collection

Winter is far away, we hope, but it's better to know what will make us tick when we go shopping for the new season. the press breakfast at agnes b. shop in Marylebone High Street display a very colourful collection as well as some more demure pieces in neutral hues.
This marl coat dress in wool and cotton is lovely. I like the pleated top and the Peter Pan collar. Underneath a wool muslin slip with ecru embroidery peeps in order to brighten up the outfit. Here the dress is worn with socks and sandals but I believe that very thick tights and boots are fine being ready to brave our cold weather.

Very British this outfit with the beige jacket in Prince of Wales jacquard and the jeans in caramel coloured leather with a stretch velvety finish. to be paired with a V neck pull and the bag in contrast colour. I could see a pair of Chelsea boots or a pair of loafers.
I love this look, the full cardigan in grey and yellow merino and mohair wool, the velvety leather skirt with fringes and the scarf in yellow mohair. Perfect with boots or for a more aggressive look with a pair of combat boots and I like the oversize leopard print bag.

Perfect for the office this jacket in emerised cotton and trousers. The black collar contrast the all brown ensemble and a red printed shirt gives a flash of colours and a western inspired look with the b. snap fastenings.

Colour is coming with the agnes b. winter collection. The green wool tweed coat is beautiful and the same fabric is used for the men version as well. The look is great teamed up with this strawberry red cardigan in mohair and merino wool, the bermuda shorts have a snakeskin print in bright colours and to finish the look a nice hat and ankle boots or if preferred thick tights and combat boots in a bright colour. Check the lining of the coat, I find it amazing.

For a purple obsessed like me, I couldn't miss this outfit, the purple mohair coat has got a large collar with blue embroidery, the roll neck jumper has got this great navy blue colour in soft merino wool, the peacock green trousers are in jersey and to top up the look a triangular scarf in blue mohair keeps the cold away from our heads.

It reminds me of a stained glass this jacket in turquoise and ecru jacquard wool. The look has been styled with a round necked jumper in green merino wool and a jeans model  turquoise trousers in cotton. A nice bag and a pair of brogue shoes accessorise the outfit with perfection.
Menswear from agnes b. is very eclectic and as well as classic numbers, some of the outfits are quite adventurous. This tweed coat with raglan sleeve is reversible with a grey cotton gabardine version. The round necked sweater in grey wool and the white cotton shirt are perfect for the office. Trousers are short in velvet and they can be paired with Chelsea boots or ankle boots.

Men version of the green tweed double breasted coat I love. This colour is fantastic for the winter season and practically can match anything in a man's wardrobe. Here it has been styled with roll neck sweater in mint green merino wool and navy blue trousers in wool tweed.

This short coat in black and red jacquard has got a black gabardine collar. It is one of those pieces that are worn over and over again. Paired with a black merino sweater and lightly waxed black jeans, this is a winner look. shoes either suede ankle boots or combat boots.
Fantastic outfit, the black shirt with white collar peeps from the tee shirt with  an agnes photo titled " in the autumn woods". White jeans finish the look together with a pair of Derby shoes though brogue would be great as well. I really enjoyed checking agnes b. collection, have a look at the website www.agnesb.com and visit the shops that can be found in Floral Street in Covent Garden, in Marylebone High Street, in Sloane Square in Pavilion Road  and at the concession in Fenwick in Bond Street.

Havaianas Pac Man

It 's hot, finally. Newspapers are writing worried about " Heatwave set to stay"...ehm it is not heatwave, it is what we called summer, and in the summer we like to wear as less as possible still keeping our dignity intact. Havaianas is one of those brands that makes flip flops trendy and right to wear for both men and women without looking dishevelled. For this season, among lots of their designs check the Pac-Man series inspired by the arcade game.
I find them great fun, perfect for men and women, there are two models. This is the Marinho model with the maze that made everybody addicted to computer games.
This is the model Preto with the characters become famous in the 1980s through the famous game. Go online to www.havaianas.com to see the range and do some serious flip flop shopping.

Feather M Bags

Bags are never enough in a woman's closet, I did an audit of my "collection" and the result was 109 bags. So another brand on the market is just pure joy for somebody like me and I believe like many of other women. Feather M is a brand based in London and the beautiful bags designed by Leo Featherman are something to be added to any handbags collection.
This is the Tuesday Clutch in pink python. The chain is detachable and as well as python this gorgeous bag is available in suede and in several colours. The bag is wide enough to contain, without loosing its shape, mobile phone, a small purse, keys, credit cards and a lipstick.
This is the Saturday Bag in hand painted neon orange python. All the bags are lined with a signature suede leather and here as well several colours are available in both suede and python. Leo is an amazing designer, she graduated from the London College of Fashion and before venturing with her brand she worked in several departments of the fashion industry gaining great knowledge of the business.
Beautiful Friday Clutch in pink fuchsia python skin. There is a gold chain strap detachable and it is lined with suede leather. Its shape is fantastic and it is available in suede and in leather as well with a great choice of colours.

A small selection of models, the Tuesday Clutch has been revisited with a feathered front, the Friday Clutch is in white and grey python skin and at the back the Monday Bag in tan leather but that can be available in suede and python as well. Check the website: www.featherm.com  or you can go at Wolf & Badger  32 Dover Street, Mayfair, London, W1S 4NE to see the collection.

Dorraj Shoes

I've been to the launch of Dorraj Shoes at Coya in Piccadilly. Well done Jarrod Grossberg, the shoes are beautiful, well made with the best leathers, hand made in Italy and at the moment only two styles for both women and men: slippers and sneakers.
These women slippers are in ostrich leather or suede with a metal mesh tassel, a style that will be present every season. The internal is in blue which is the Dorraj signature colour. For this season the palette available is black, tangerine, agate, brilliant blue and petrol.

The women high top sneakers have got the same  colours as the slippers. Ostrich leather or suede are the choice of leathers for this model with a slim line black rubber sole. All the leathers are sourced responsibly and a documentation will be included for each pair bought.

Men slippers in ostrich leather or suede have got the same model as the women ones, but being hand made, the difference between men and women feet has been accounted for and worked through in order to give the right comfort as well as flattering the feet with elongated shapes and made them perfect for both informal and formal wear.

Men sneakers  with a soft high top for the best ankle comfort. All Dorraj shoes are carrying the blue metal monograph tab which can be found on sole or heels. Working with exotic skins future productions might include models in crocodile or python and also a small leather goods collection also in exotic skins included a briefcase. For this first season the Dorraj collection will be available only online shipping globally. The website is under construction but you can bookmark it for future reference: www.dorraj.co.uk
