Tea With Pandora

Everyone knows the Danish jewellery brand Pandora. I can safely say that with its stock of lovely, well made and affordable trinkets, this company saved more than one independent  jewellery shop from its closure. My friend, blogger Sonia Figone invited me to join her at #teawithpandora at their flagship store 465 Oxford Street W1C 2AU for an early afternoon of tea, cakes, pampering and view of a collection for Mother's day and the Spring.
The VIP lounge at Pandora shop was decorated with flowers, pink drapery and tables ready to welcome the winners of a competition on Twitter which my friend has been lucky to win. We sat at a table and we had our tea served together with a cake stand full of delicious sandwiches, macaroons and mini meringue and lemon pies, mini scones and other mini scrumptious cakes.
We've been joined by Emma Collings marketing manager and Emma Hedges marketing coordinator for Pandora and between a sip of tea, a sip of pomegranate and elderflower drink we've talked about the Pandora brand, fashion and the just finished LFW.
We could not miss a session of manicure with the great girls from Perfect 10 a mobile beauty company where it is possible to book a beauty treatment and they will come to your home. We had our nails filed and painted with a choice of three nail polishes in a pink nuance to match the decor of the room and the brand.
The VIP lounge was beautiful don't you agree ? We were just feeling like ladies who lunch and after a tiring period for the fashion week it was just the perfect treat for a relaxing couple of hours with a friend.
But let's talk about the Pandora collection dedicated to Mother's Day, a lovely selection of charms in silver, enamel and cubic zirconia. For example a nice idea to start a Pandora charm bracelet it could be at some beginnings like the birth of a daughter. At each occasion there is a specific charm that will be collected on a bracelet and when the kid grows up and maybe leaves the house to go to Uni or for any other reason, a gift with all the important steps in her life are grouped together on a bracelet which will become a collectible item as well.
As if we did not have had enough, at the end of our afternoon we left with a gorgeous goodie bag with sweet treats inspired by the occasion. A delicious cupcake, a Pandora charm, a delectable nail varnish with mini nail files and a nail buffer and a voucher from Perfect 10 in order to sample their treatments at home. Start today your collection or build up the bracelet of your life at

Princess Tam Tam Spring Summer Collection

I love the fashion lingerie brand Princess Tam Tam. This French label has that Gallic charm as well as being easy going. Styles range from very sensual lingerie sets to sportier line with boxer designed for women. Colours are a very important part in Princess Tam Tam collection that ranges from underwear, swimwear and lounge wear.
Alix is a stretch jersey little number in beautiful rose hip red or ivory. The choice of bras ranges from under wired, soft push ups or push ups with removable pads. The briefs can be mixed and matched choosing among hipster bikini, shorts or thong. I love the Swiss dots pattern and the bow at the front of bras and briefs.
The Fleur model is gorgeous with its delicate lace, which is a speciality from Calais. Brazilian boxers or hipster give a modern twist to the transparent  motif of the set. The bra can be a soft cup or half cup bra and as well as pearl grey a rose white nuance is available, depending on the skin tone.
This lovely little number is Pipa, a night gown in silk crepe. This is the perfect nightwear to put in a holdall for a week end away. It is available in blue or pink, the hottest colours for the next season. The peek a boo detail on the front is playful and classy.
I love pyjamas  and this polka dot model in cotton called Rose is a beauty. Either blue or grey, I would see it as one of those garments to wear when there is a pyjama party or when those charity events " Wear a pyjama at work" come up. Obviously sleeping in it is the main purpose, but if something we like we can wear it in more than one occasion, why not? All the lines at Princess Tam Tam are fabulous so check online at or head down to Liberty , Fenwicks or Harrod's and treat yourself to some nice lingerie.

The Intensive Wrinkle Repair Cream is an anti ageing cream designed especially for deep lines and wrinkles, it is great as a night cream as well. At £ 30.00 for 50ml you've got premium protection with a small price tag. I love face mists and this Skin Bright Hydrating Face Mist  is fantastic with its blend of rose water, neroli and spikenard essential oils. During the warm months and even when I'm working in front of my computer, I've always got a bottle of face mist. This one is priced at £20.00 for 60ml and the right size to carry in your handbag. The green packaging of the Facial Expression Filler  refines and lifts the skin as well as relaxing the muscles around the eyes, mouth and forehead that cause expression lines. At £ 22.00 for 15ml it is the natural answer to Botox.
The Radiance Face Oil is one of the stars of the "family", it is good for sensitive skins or when experiencing redness. visit the website at and you will be spoilt for choice. In order to give more life to the coat, I would suggest wearing it in those office with air con at full blast. At £ 149.00 it is one of those great staple items in any woman's wardrobe.
Our spring is not very warm but we like to have something new and a bit lighter, just to welcome the new season. This fringe knit jacket priced at £ 189.00 is the right solution to a nippy weather. Its "chanellesque" look makes it a timeless classic. Teamed up with a floral lace top at £ 129.00 and a denim effect lace skirt at £ 139.00will take you from day to evening effortlessly.
I love tea dresses, they are so feminine and this Anemone print dress at £ 159.00 ticks all the boxes for the next season trends. With a cropped jacket is great for the office, with some jewellery(check the Jigsaw line, they've got some impressive pieces perfect for accessorising any outfit) for an evening out or for a shopping spree, very easy to take it off in the fitting room.
This is a very relaxed look but at the same time very smart. The Retro Jersey Amelie Top at £ 35.00 is a classic that should never be missing from a wardrobe. Here it it styled with a pastel leather skirt at £ 225.00, an investment piece that will last forever. Superdry Spring Summer Collection

Superdry, despite its Japanese symbols emblazoned on its garments is a British brand and the flagship store in Regent Street is the temple of casual and sporty look. Some lines have been added with a more tailored cut, for who works in a smart office but wants to wear a cool brand. I've picked some of the looks for the next season, all very colourful, the perfect capsule wardrobe to put in your suitcase.
This look is very Riviera, the model looks like she just stepped out from a boat in Cannes. I love the red boat duffle jacket, teamed up with a Breton star crew tee and ankle grazer skinny trousers. The hammer high tops  are the cherry on top of the cake.
This mini Victory biker jacket gives an edge to the Hepburn Havana dress in turquoise with its delicate lace see through pattern. It is very sporty with a pair of aero sprint trainer, and the great thing about this outfit is that it is enough to change the shoes to change completely the look.
This look is very relaxed, perfect for a stroll at the market or for a visit to a museum or some other beauty spot on holiday or if you are at home on "staycation". The Croyd cable crew is great with the Havana skirt, here paired up with aero sprint trainers and a very roomy Jelly Whopper shopper. This bag is perfect for the beach as well.
The Hepburn dress in white and turquoise is very versatile, one of those staple garment which are a must in any young woman's wardrobe. Here it is styled with aero sprint trainers but it is great with any other kind of shoes and the Super Perforated bag in tangerine is just a beauty.
I love this dress with its bright colours, the Sundance Beach Club dress can be a tunic as well for who is not very confident to wear a mini. wear it over leggings or jeans or for a more 1970s look with a pair of flared trousers. The aero sprint trainers match the colours of the stripes and the gorgeous Super Perforated bag in fuchsia complements this fab look. Check online to see when these outfits will hit the stores at

Swatch Spring Summer Collection

I remember when in the early 1980s the first Swatch  hit the market. a playful watch in plastic, not expensive, it was the opposite of the watches we've seen before, which were serious and with an expensive price tag. Swatch is the contraction of " Second WATCH", the one you take on holiday or you practise sports with it and if it scratches it is not the end of the world. The funny thing that despite its colourful  models adults started to collect them, waiting eagerly for new releases. So maybe from this page you can find the next  Swatch to add to your collection.
From the Pastry Chef collection this wrap around model called " Caramellissima" is fun and takes you back to the candy shop after school where you were buying the candy necklaces and bracelets. I love it, even if I must admit all of the watches from this line are great. Perfect gift for a sweet tooth.
"For the Love of Patterns" is a fantastic collection, more adult than the Pastry Chef and perfect for men as well who maybe don't dare to go around with liquorice and cupcakes watches. This pair of watches are dedicated to the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge. The polka dot in blue is "For The Love of K" while the Prince of Wales check is " For the Love of W". Other patterns include hounds tooth check and bandanna print as well as many more, mainly in monochrome black and white.
Here we've got from the "Le Swatch Dream Urban" a leopard print watch which together with the other models in this line has got all the characteristics of trendy patterns and popular prints seen on graffiti and video music. Camouflage, 1970s wallpapers, animal prints are just a small selection of what you can find in this collection. The lovely watch on the picture is the Orhanda model.
Another lovely model from the "Le Swatch Dream Urban" this pink " Rose Jungle" is for this colour's lovers. With the trends in fashion for the next season, this watch will match most of the garments on display in stores. Floral is going to be huge in spring and summer and this watch will be the perfect accessory.
These colourful Scuba Libre are some of the most popular models of Swatch since its beginning. From the " Island Galore" line  the blue " La Nave Va", the red " Deep Berry" and the lime " "Lemon Profond" will be your companions during your holidays. Perfect for a swim when you need to keep track of the time because your next meeting is with the bartender who will mix a fantastic cocktail.
From the "Classic Shine" collection I love this magnificent watch with leather cuff. It is not just a watch, it becomes a piece of jewellery, with this model "Dorata" you won't need to wear anything else. Other watches in this line comprise of mother of pearl face, gold and silver metal straps and gemstone like pastes applied on straps and faces.Check online to see the other model from Swatch at where you can buy online or locate the nearest store to you where to go and be surrounded by all these beauties.

Ralph Lauren Eyewear at Vision Express

At some point or other we will all need glasses, either because shortsighted or longsighted or astigmatic or maybe we need glasses for reading or to work in front of the computer. And for sure sunglasses are an essentials for anyone. So as a shortsighted etc etc I was eager to go to the launch of the new range of Ralph Lauren Eyewear at Vision Express at their beautiful shop at 181-183 Oxford Street London W1D 2JT. Celebrity stylist Gemma Sheppard was there to give tips on how to chose the best frame for your features as well as interviewing those celebrity she styled at Dancing On Ice and X Factor who came to see the new range.
All the frames are beautiful, all square or soft rectangular shapes in high quality handmade acetate and the sunglasses are very elegant with their square shape, inspired by the ones worn by Mrs Lauren.  Sixteen models in different colours from the classic black or tortoiseshell to the more vibrant reds or lilac.
I love these delicate pair in lilac. The frame is not big so it is perfect for a small face and it is just the perfect shape so that the eyes are like in a shop window ready to be admired. The weight is not existent and it is very important because as every glasses wearer knows, the weight on the nose can be uncomfortable after a whole day wearing glasses. Ralph Lauren frames are light and the bridge doesn't push on the nose leaving it free from red bruises.
This frame is a real fun with the external sidearms in a bright red and black colour and the internal in a tortoiseshell print pattern. Next to it a silvery frame, very sophisticated and classic, after all not everyone is working in a creative environment and there is a need for elegant and muted frames that don't scream . Ralph Lauren Eyewear caters for everyone and everyone taste.
This frame is great, black on the outside and red on the inside. Actually one of the girls working there on the evening of the event looked stunning with these pair of glasses. I had an eye test from the very skillful people at Vision Express. They've been great and they've given me a very accurate eye test using all the latest technology. Check online at where you can book an eye test and choose your own frame among the many brands they've got in store.
