The Christmas List of Orange Gifts

This post and many that will follow are going to be a bit different from my usual ones where I write about a single brand. Every post will have a theme, and I want to start with a list of Christmas gifts with something in common, the colour Orange. So if you love this shade, or you know somebody who does, take notes.

Perfumer Atkinsons and  designer Vicki Murdoch from Silken Favours teamed up to bring a limited edition gift set comprised of the iconic 24 Bond Street cologne and a silk necktie. I fell in love with Vicki' silk scarves and I've nicknamed her the British Hermes. Colours are bright and the designs exquisite. This collaboration between Silken Favours and Atkinsons bring a bright orange necktie and a label designed to match the style of this artist. There are only 1799 bottles, all numbered so be quick to snap one for a very special gift. For more on Vicki Murdoch products check her website at  www.silkenfavours.com
This is a very bright Roberts Radio  from the Revival Mini  range in Sunburst Orange colour. The style goes back to the 1950s models of Roberts Radio and with its size it can be put on your bedside table and listen to DAB+/DAB and FM radio frequencies. Great for the kitchen or at your desk if you work from home because the space occupied is minimal. This little beauty is hand finished and the sound quality is very high. Bags are never enough and when a bag is like this Easton by Pickett, I 'm sure that it will be a very happy unwrapping under the Christmas tree. Pickett is a  quintessentially British brand with its shop at the top of Savile Row with Vigo Street and everything is made in UK. This bag has got a adjustable shoulder strap, two internal zip and three slip pockets and the lining is made of luxurious contrasting suede. The lovely zip around purse has got contrasting leather between outside and inside , 5 credit cards slots, notes and  coin section.  Check more at www.pickett.co.uk
Despite a rise on pictures taken with mobile phones, I prefer to have my camera with me when around and I believe that I am not the only one thinking like that. The Lumix DMC - FT5 has got the Panasonic guarantee for high quality technology, it is waterproof and a variety of shooting options to suit every moment. The perfect gift  if going away for the winter holidays. Obviously orange is my choice but this model is available also in black and blue. Check www.panasonic.com for more information.
Maybe it is an unusual gift but this Victoria Button Back  Chair by Heal's  would make a lot of  us' dream come true. Its coral colour is warm and cheerful, it could be placed in a corner of the dining room or close to a fireplace for one of those "me time" moments where a book a mug of tea are the highlights of the day, or in the bedroom for leaving your clothes at the end of the day. It is made in Britain and the cushions are a mix of feathers and foam to give the best comfort. Check more at  www.heals.co.uk
