Ceci "Stateless Vagabonds" Collection AW17

Ceci is the label of designer Cecilia Chang, maybe a nickname from when she was a child. Her collection "Stateless Vagabonds" has taken the inspiration from the Tuareg tribes roaming the Sahara desert and well known for their blue garments. The video will show the catwalk that has taken place at the Freemasons Hall hosted by Fashion Scout.
The palette, as I have anticipated comprises of Tuareg blue, greys, blacks and burgundy, all shades that are present in a desert, think of the sand and the sunsets.
This over sized coat is gorgeous with the distressed denim and lined with blue faux fur. I find it very playful because it mixes luxury with informal fabric.
This is another look I love, the devoree black dress with a bluish purplish coat and that beautiful faux fur collar. The choice of sturdy boots is something I will adopt for myself.
These velvet devoree wide leg trousers are amazing paired with this top. The collection is very wearable as well as having some fantastic show pieces. Ceci beautiful clothes can be bought in Japan and in Taiwan. Check the website at for more information and for news from the designer.

Ethan K Statement Bags

It is easy to fall in love with any creation by Ethan Koh who, with his label Ethan K, makes the most extraordinary and gorgeous bags around. An Ethan K bag is the ultimate goal for an accessory lover, being stocked at the most luxurious shops around the world and with the possibility to have a bespoke service choosing the exotic skins and the colours up to the clasps and lining.
This beauty in lavender colour is one of the popular models by Ethan K, the Mini1115. I love gemstones and semi precious ones  so the clasp in Amethyst really caught my eyes, after all, any shades of purples are  my favourite colours. The model can be made in python or croc or any other exotic skin in the catalogue, and colour is not a limitation.
This is the same model but in blue, where the clasp is made not with a polished semi precious stone but with a cluster of  druzy crystals taken from a geode. In UK you can find Ethan K bags at Harrods, if not other stockists are Saks in NY and Beverly Hills or Paris at L'Eclaireur among other very refined shops in Russia or Far East.
This clutch has been seen on many celebrities and here we are talking A listers like HRH Princess Beatrice or  Dame Helen Mirren or Jennifer Lopez or Elizabeth Hurley just to name a few. The clasp is shaped as a squirrel which I find adorable and it gives a kind of playfulness to a style that it is generally used for very formal events. That squirrel jazz up the clutch.
Purple being my favourite colour can't be missed from one of my posts. This amazing bag has been inspired by Ethan Koh's friend Wendy Yu and  has got a chain shoulder strap that can be detached in order to have a clutch. The front is adorned with a cluster of druzy crystals. A limited edition version of this bag has been created with multicoloured hand painted skins, named after its icon Wendy Yu and with only ten bags produced.
This classic clutch with its two coloured skins have got the clasp shaped  as a hedgehog which is a favourite with Ethan K bags having seen it on many of his creations. This one has got tiny stones set on its eyes and enamel painted on its back. Check out to know more about this great accessories designer and immerse yourself in his world. The instagram account as well looks like a fashion magazine.

Rocky Star " Vida" AW17 Collection

Rocky Star creations are worn by many celebrities in his homeland and globally. His AW 17 collection has been unveiled during London Fashion Week among the shows of Fashion Scout at the Freemasons Hall. The name of the collection is "Vida" that in Sanskrit it means Discovery, where unspoken emotions lead to self-discovery. Enjoy the video.
Beautiful lace and embroidery for which Rocky Star is very well known, are present on his garments. The palette comprises of ivory and black as well as dusty greys and beige.
This gown is very sophisticated with its nude colour and the texture of the skirt. Just match a statement piece of jewellery and a very luxury clutch bag.
Another impressive gown from  Rocky Star collection. The black skirt tones down the sparkly corset for a glamorous look yet not over the top.
I love the lace skirt with the tunic on top where the soft fabric plays with embroideries. To know more about Rocky Star and to  find out his stockists go to

Alexis Carballosa " Unbound"

Colours and fluid fabrics with silks and shining fabrics sums up Alexis Carballosa's collection "Unbound", seen at Fashion Scout for the AW17 season. The inspiration is the underwater world with blues, greens, teals and the metallic flashes together  with yellows. Black is part of the palette, all the looks have been accessorised with amazing headpieces. Check the video of the show for more.
A red carpet collection bursting with colours and beautiful and luxury fabrics. Alexis Carballosa creates pieces of wearable art.
Striking model Alice Blomfeldt  is wearing this gorgeous coat  with draped sleeves and huge collar. The emerald green on black is amazing.
This sleeveless coat in black with teal doodles is stunning, it is a perfect red carpet piece, very sophisticated and at the same time unforgettable. I would see this outfit at a winter wedding or other formal events.
These see through trousers  are great with a bright yellow jacket. I am sure that many of the Unbound collection will be papped in the next few months, worn by celebs.

Angus Chiang AW17 at Fashion Scout London

The first show on schedule introduced by  Fashion Scout at the Freemansons' Hall has been an explosion of colours that set the tone for a vibrant fashion season. Despite being a menswear designer, Angus Chiang had his runway show during the womenswear season thanks to his creations very gender fluid. The video by Project Video will give you an idea as well as some of my pictures.
The inspiration is the 90s, the electronic music and hip-hop culture. Customised school uniforms have been tweaked  and school stationery have been  used as accessories as you can see them from the video. It goes back to when we where altering the school uniforms to make them still allowed but with that twist maybe hidden  from our professors.
The headpieces are created using  artificial fur to remind the students hairstyles with headbands. Colours are very important, fluorescent colours like it was in the 90s youth magazines and at clubs.
Graffited denim is back again with drawings on it or messages and all the doodles that can be found on schoolbooks and exercise books drawn out of boredom in the classroom.
This ensemble is like the gym kits when we had PE classes. The big shoes in the show are inspired by the old canvas style shoes  but they are huge and extremely cool. Check more about Angus Chiang at
